Dark is absence of light.

As bulbs gives our room light, why cant we have a device[name it DarkB], which makes our room dark. Is it possible?? If this is possible we can have open theater in day time…. why we need to close the windows and doors to make the theater dark…

Yes, its not easy. May be, not feasible considering the ROI. People will say its better to close the environment to make it dark. But i don’t want to have a limitation[setting] done in the environment to make it dark. We are not opening windows and doors to see in a dark room. We are switching on a bulb and light is there… Same way, inorder to make the theatre dark, we should switch on a device and the room is dark…

Last week, I bought a sipper bottle from shop to use it in my car for carrying water.

Yes it is No: 7 and so Polycarbonate(PC).  Yes, the price for these bottles are high but you will be safe using it.

Always insist on using Polycarbonate bottles for daily needs.

H1N1: “Carry on as usual” or “quarantine and social distancing” ??

This was the big question that i was having until today. Some times i thought the media is giving much hype and the actual influenza is not that deadly.  But some times I thought if media is not giving this importance, our Govt or any body responsible will not take this serious and end of the day, we all suffer.

But today after reading one article in the magazine “Prospect” about the Great Flu Pandemic influenza happened during 1918-19 which killed 228,000 Britons, i got to know the basic theory “NEVER UNDERESTMATE” any influenza.

In Machester when people are adviced to quarantine and social distancing, infections and death rates were lower that else where in Britain. This remained so until the armistice celebrations on 11th November 1918, which brought crowds to the streets, throwing people into close proximity. A week later, the Machester saw an “Alarming increase in Mortality”.

What I am trying to point out is to..  learn from history.

Recently I bought 1 kg of so called “WASHINGTON apple” which costs me 110 rupees per Kg. There was other breeds of apple like China Apple, fuji apple etc and the price for these apples was comparatively less. I selected the best apple just to make sure that what i buy is having good quality. Alfter all its something which we buy for eating.. rt..

That night, we planned to have the same apples for eating.. I took the same and was washing as usual. The apple was so shining. I found that some water got collect in little drops on the surface of the apple as if it highly waxed.

I decided to find out. See the shining!!! So tempting to buy rt?? No doubt we buy it for 110 rupees per Kg.























I just brushed with a knife through the surface and i was able to see white particles coming. After a close look, i understood that it is nothing but WAX!!!!

I heated the apple over flame and when wiped the surface with a knife and now see the real wax…























So now lets eat Waxed Apple…

I watched SLUMDog Yesterday. I always watch movies with my expectation level set to very minumum. But for Slumdog, i was having some expectation as it is rated high internationally. Some people said it was overrated.

What i need to say is about the way the movie is narrated and the real pictures of mumbai.

The film has to be watched by every Indian to know how real is the life of Slum kids. The film pictured gangster wars, communal tensions and hovels.

In short, I loved the movie, I love the music, I love the way it was filmed..

Yes… after watching slumdog, i think i have understood more about India. The street kids, the slums, the dharavi street, the way police men treats to these slum kids, relationship between two brothers, communal tensions, gang wars etc etc etc.

And yes, the intense love that Jamal[main actor in the film] have with Latika[another slum kid].

Now go and see the movie..

Well… 2nd day, I didn’t enjoyed much except the talks i had with VMware engineers…

They were doing demo of their new product : ESX 3i

ESX 3i virtualization platform (OS), has been reduced from about 2GB [ ESX] in size down to an incredible 32MB in size. This is possible because the Linux service console has been removed and what is left is the small ESX Hypervisor kernel. In actuality, the hypervisor that really provides the virtualization services has always been about 32MB. Over time, VMware has been moving management functions out of the service console and into remote management tools.

The benefit to going to 3i is that there is no installation (if it is embedded in the server when you buy it) and it is simple configure. 3i is great for people who are new to virtualization and also for existing customers who want to simplify their ESX installation.

Since the ESXi is just 32 MB, you may be able to install the Vmware server in a USB? Well Ii will try this when i get some time..
