Dark is absence of light.

As bulbs gives our room light, why cant we have a device[name it DarkB], which makes our room dark. Is it possible?? If this is possible we can have open theater in day time…. why we need to close the windows and doors to make the theater dark…

Yes, its not easy. May be, not feasible considering the ROI. People will say its better to close the environment to make it dark. But i don’t want to have a limitation[setting] done in the environment to make it dark. We are not opening windows and doors to see in a dark room. We are switching on a bulb and light is there… Same way, inorder to make the theatre dark, we should switch on a device and the room is dark…

Comments welcome..

Well… 2nd day, I didn’t enjoyed much except the talks i had with VMware engineers…

They were doing demo of their new product : ESX 3i

ESX 3i virtualization platform (OS), has been reduced from about 2GB [ ESX] in size down to an incredible 32MB in size. This is possible because the Linux service console has been removed and what is left is the small ESX Hypervisor kernel. In actuality, the hypervisor that really provides the virtualization services has always been about 32MB. Over time, VMware has been moving management functions out of the service console and into remote management tools.

The benefit to going to 3i is that there is no installation (if it is embedded in the server when you buy it) and it is simple configure. 3i is great for people who are new to virtualization and also for existing customers who want to simplify their ESX installation.

Since the ESXi is just 32 MB, you may be able to install the Vmware server in a USB? Well Ii will try this when i get some time..

And you know, its free downloadable..

More info, read here

Today, I was trying to make my grub to customized photo.. it was cool.. Nothing to break the head. Only thing is to change the picture format to .xps and there are tools with linux to do that.. the command is “convert” command.

Any body knows who are these two guys?? Atleast kingians [my chennai room mates] must be knowing…

If you want to play with these grub, its the splashimage grub command that bootloader use to do it.

So you need to convert the picture to xps format with 640×480 and gzip it and and copy to /boot/grub dir.

Now change the /etc/grub.conf file to edit the splashimage to the newly created xps picture. Now reboot the system.

keep fingers crossed and wait for the grub to come

Any body knows who are the ones in the photo???

Coming again to the HOW-TO..

Picture/photo parameters:

1. xpm.gz file type
2. 640×480
3. 14 colors only

Now what?

1. Gzip your xpm file and put it into your /boot/GRUB directory (or to any directory of a /dev/hda1 partition). (do: `gzip myfile.xpm`)
2. Edit your GRUB config file (aka /etc/GRUB.conf) and add this line:
splashimage=(hd0,0)/GRUB/myfile.xpm.gz
NOTE: Change the partition and directory according to your system’s setup.
3. reboot

If evolution has really taken place then living organishms should have developed by gradual incremental changes and continued to change over time. But the fossile record shows the exact opposite. Defferent groups of organisms appeared suddenly with no similar ancestors behind them, and reamained in their original state for millions of years, undergoing no change at all. I will give the proof here with the fossil records. Click on the images here…

Hope you saw the pictures.. Now i want to ask the question:

“WHY THIS SPECIES NOT HAVING TRANSFORMATION”

I know that you will have answers, but i need scientific answers. Is there any any scientific answer for my question? Why iam aksing for scientific facts is that:

Supporters propound upon the Theory of Evolution as if it has scientific support, which it does not. They switch tactics when pressed against the wall with solid scientific proofs against the Theory of Evolution as presented above by stating that evolution is “only” a theory. Using this flip-flop approach they try to have it both ways. They claim scientific support when none exists, and they claim it is only a theory when the theory straddles them with outlandish, impossible conclusion that violate scientific truths.

Here i am trying to put 8 Scientific Evidences one-by-one against Theory of Evolution.

Evidence #1
There are no transitional links and intermediate forms in either the fossil record or the modern world. Therefore, there is no actual evidence that evolution has occurred either in the past or the present.

Evidence #2
Natural selection (the supposed evolution mechanism, along with mutations) is incapable of advancing an organism to a “higher-order”.

Evidence #3
Although evolutionists state that life resulted from non-life, matter resulted from nothing, and humans resulted from animals, each of these is an impossibility of science and the natural world.

Evidence #4
The supposed hominids (creatures in-between ape and human that evolutionists believe used to exist) bones and skull record used by evolutionists often consists of `finds’ which are thoroughly unrevealing and inconsistent. They are neither clear nor conclusive even though evolutionists present them as if they were.

Evidence #5
Nine of the twelve popularly supposed hominids are actually extinct apes/ monkeys and not part human at all.

Evidence #6
The final three supposed hominids put forth by evolutionists are actually modern human beings and not part monkey/ ape at all. Therefore, all twelve of the supposed hominids can be explained as being either fully monkey/ ape or fully modern human but not as something in between.

Evidence #7
Natural selection can be seen to have insurmountable social and practical inconsistencies.

Evidence #8
The rock strata finds (layers of buried fossils) are better explained by a universal flood than by evolution.

Many …believe in evolution for the simple reason that they think science has proven it to be a `fact’ and, therefore, it must be accepted… In recent years, a great many people…having finally been persuaded to make a real examination of the problem of evolution, have become convinced of its fallacy and are now convinced anti-evolutionists.”

Do you know Anthony Flew, probably the world’s greatest philosophical atheist, who recently turned away from atheism and said he now believes in a creator. He said, “I had to follow the evidence.”

I think if you do look at cosmology and physics and biochemistry and genetics and consciousness and astronomy, the arrows point in a direction and I think that direction is toward an intelligent designer.

For those who will be passed out this year from engineering colleges can go for higher education, either for M tech or MBA.

For those who were working and were layoff ed, they can either look forward to do research [leading to PhD] in their interesting subject. People who were looking for a domain change for many years use this time to do that… This may be applicable for those who are in bench[with out any work] also.

All must keep in mind “Good days are coming”… Its just the matter of time. So people who are interested in business/stocks… This is the right time for them

Companies must utilize this time for giving training to their employees if they don’t have any work to give. They must be able to calculate the amount of work that comes after this recession, and in what domain it will be and accordingly they should utilize this time for training/molding/updating….
